The micro step controller is special designed by ACT. It performs like
servo
motor. We use "bipolar sine wave" technology instead of "bipolar
chopper" for the controller. We guarantee no step missing in the normal
operation with 0.00008" resolution. We tested the
machine with the full speed (slew rate) in all axes continuously for
hours, the
motors are not hot at all. There are 5 CPU in each controller, one for
each axis
(3), one for spindle motor and one for the coordination of all motions.
The
electronic system is thorough tested through temperature and vibrations
for
